I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Every Sunday I will be releasing a blog post about what I like to call “The Fab Five”. These are products that I will be highlighting for you every week. One of the reasons Busy Girl Glam blog got started was because of the amount of questions I received about which products I use and like. Everything I mention is tried and true; otherwise, I won’t mention it 😃.
On that note, for this week’s Fab Five products I am talking about something that is very near and dear to my heart, Chick-fil-a. Can I get a woot woot?!? If you know me, you know I love a good meal. Jr and I often find ourselves running around like crazy during the week or especially on the weekend with errands, appointments, and family/friend gatherings. Can you relate? Our go to for “quick service” is Chick-fail-a. They just opened one a few years ago close to our home and when we are on the go, that’s our spot!
1. Grilled chicken sandwich, small ice cream cone, and a water.
2. Grilled chicken sandwich, side salad, and an unsweet tea.
3. Grilled chicken nuggets, small fries and a diet soda.
4. Grilled bacon and chicken sandwich, small fruit cup and a diet soda.
5. Chicken strips, superfood side and a water.
Unfortunately, the older I get the more I realize these “quick meals” sometimes just add up….in extra pounds🤦🏼♀️. So, in my desire to keep a healthier lifestyle, I have put together a few meals that are all UNDER 500 CALORIES. Although I do love a good fried chicken sandwich and fries, I have come to realize that sometimes it’s just nice to have a healthier alternative. Maintaining a healthier lifestyle is all about give and take. So if you want-eat the cookie, have the ice cream but maybe choose a healthier meal before hand so you don’t feel guilty afterwards.
