My HOLIDAY Outfit is on SALE!
I can’t believe Christmas is two weeks away!!! The parties, the get togethers, the fun outings; it’s never ending during this season. Whether you are a busy mom, wife and/or working woman you know that it is easy to remember everyone else but forget about yourself. That’s exactly what has happened to me. Jr asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I literally was like; I don’t know really. I have been so worried about getting everyone else a gift, I completely forgot about myself. Plus, I am really a person that cares more about quality time than receiving gifts (5 love Languages). As long as I am with my family, everyone is happy and healthy; that’s all I really care about. But my husband encouraged me to write a list since he needs ideas (lol) and he reminded me that it is important to give as much as it is to receive. So, I started compiling a list of nice to haves and it sort of grew to my dream list and then I thought hmmm- why don’t I share this with all of you. I hope, if you are anything like me, that you see this list and maybe feel inspired to write your own list.
One of the things I struggle with is asking for something. I have always been very independent and if I wanted something, I would go out and work for it. One thing that I have learned is: it’s okay to allow the people you love to spoil you and take care of you. After all, you are always working so hard to serve your community, family and others. It’s good to be appreciated during this Christmas season.
