This sweater dress is sooo flattering and super soft. I ordered it for our trip to Orlando to wear to Disney Springs. It was so easy to wear because it was still cool out but not so cold that I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable in a dress. Also, it is really flattering (even though I have eaten a ton of carbs during the holidays :/). I am going to be living in it this winter (aka cool months for FL people). I got so many compliments on it when I wore it out to eat. So, I thought I’d share the details with you all. I wore it with black tights because it was a little chilly in Orlando while we were there. I would recommend sizing up for length (I am wearing a medium). I am more of a curvy girl so I have to, but if I wasn’t I would say it is more true to size. One of the things I love about it is it can be worn to work and then to dinner at night. I also ordered it in black because it’s so versatile, and it does come in 4 different colors. This dress was a part of my best of basics post (here) because there are so many different ways you can style it. Whether you wear it with booties and a belt or boots and a hat, its such a classic versatile piece to add to your closet.
In other news, we are finally back on a regular routine with work and school which has made me so happy. I have no clue why but sometimes too much vacation can sometimes be a bad thing. My eating and work habits are much better when I have structure in place. Jr was laughing at me when he said i’m shocked you aren’t sad the holidays are over. I was like well that’s because I started celebrating the holiday season in September (LOL). I always start getting excited and preparing for the holidays around the end of September so by now I’m ready to move on (hahah!). Anyways, I hope you are all having a great week and still working towards your New year’s resolutions. We put our dream board up (post here) which is a great reminder every day of what you are working for.
