Sephora is currently running their beauty insider sale. I honestly look forward to this sale because you can get 10-20% off (depending on your points with Sephora) on everything. So you know that hair dryer, skin care treatment, or makeup you’ve been wanting, now’s the time to get it. I usually stock up on some hair products and skin care. I’ve been wanting this perfume from Jo Malone so badly, I asked my husband to get it for me for Mother’s Day. He was so happy because now he gets 20% off..lol I’m happy and so is he.
If you are new to the sale here’s how it goes:
If you have bought anything from Sephora, you get a certain amount of points with every purchase putting you in a category of Rouge (1,000 points or more in one calendar year), VIP ($350), or Beauty insider (under $350).
- ROUGE MEMBERS: 20% off April 26 – May 6 with code HEYROUGE
- VIB MEMBERS: 15% off May 2 – May 6 with code HEYVIB
- BEAUTY INSIDER MEMBERS: 10% off May 2 – May 6
I’ve linked a bunch of items in the picture above that I use on a daily/ weekly basis. Below I’ll be linking items that I have or that are on my wish list. Keep in mind that this sale only happens, twice a year, so if you want something, now’s the time.
This is something that has been on my wish list forever. I am currently using the Cover FX Gripping Primer but it has been sold out for months. I honestly wouldn’t repurchase it. I like it but i’m not crazy about it…yet. I definitely would purchase the Tarte poreless primer, I think that one is better for textured skin.
This mascara is so good. I stopped using it for a while because I received another mascara in PR. However, this mascara is still hands down my favorite. I even bought one for my sister for Mother’s Day.
This is waterproof, and such a great under eye makeup. It doesn’t transfer off or crease, it’s water proof aka sweat proof for summer. You only need one dot to cover your entire under eye. I have used other creams but I always go back to this one.
I just purchased this. I’m on the hunt for anything that is anti-frizz as a defense for my hair. The worst problem I have is humidity. I can do my hair and the second I go outside, it’s ruined. I live in Florida so this is a common problem. I use this as a leave in conditioner and blow my hair out. So far, I really like it.
I use It Cosmetics CC Matte daily. I started using it when I had Tommy. I didn’t want to do a full face of makeup, but I also didn’t want to scare people when I walked out the door with my “no makeup” haha. So, I first purchased their CC cream and it was incredible. Later, they came out with the CC Matte and I love it. It’s full coverage, has SPF and us can use it like a tinted moisturizer, only it’s full coverage.
For my weekend makeup aka date night, church, family outing, I use Dior Forever Skin Glow. It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way. I love it and it’s worth the money because your skin looks flawless all day.
I first tried this perfume when I received a sample of it at another store. I loved the smell and how it smelled on me. The Pink Peonies and Blush is my favorite. I could not find one sale on this perfume, so I was so happy to see it was a part of the Sephora Beauty sale.
This is something I use for more of a glam makeup look. It’s the nicest shimmer that I could find that doesn’t emphasize my skin texture and goes on like a sheen on my skin. You can even use it as an eyeshadow. Highly recommend!
This is a great bronzer that can also be used as a contour. I love that there is a set being offered with a brush. Anytime a makeup company offers a brush with their product, it’s a good deal since makeup brushes can be so expensive.
I’ve tried to buy other beauty blenders that are cheaper and I never like them. I always go back to this beauty blender. It’s the first, it works, and it’s the best. If you take care of it, it can last you a very ling time.
This spray is good for prepping the skin before makeup and after. This is the only spray that sets my makeup but doesn’t overly dry it. Many setting sprays dry my face out and my skin looks more texturized then it really is. A good way to try this product is through the value size here.
I started using this balm when I was pregnant because I constantly looked (or felt at least) dehydrated. It nourishes and moisturizes your lips. I keep it in my purse and apply as needed. I bought the tinted one because I like a natural color to my lips, but there is a clear one available too.
I don’t know what is in this powder because it is very sheer, but it makes your makeup come together beautifully. It erases any harsh lines from blush and improves the overall look of your skin. It’s not shimmery at all and its not a setting powder. This is my secret weapon that really enhances the look of your makeup while softening the imperfections of the skin.
