How to keep your Hair from Frizzing up in the Summer Heat.

Hi Everyone!

I found two products that are amazing for fighting frizz. First, I want to mention that I was gifted these items but I will for sure be repurchasing them. I never like to talk about anything that I do not use myself or wouldn’t realistically mention. I even tried it on my mom’s hair and it was so soft, smooth and did not frizz up after an hour in almost 100 degree heat.

Before I talk more about this product, let me mention something: I am half Italian and half Spanish. So, I was blessed with very thick curly hair that I straighten and re-curl. I love curly hair but I always feel like it’s not the most flattering on me as it is on others. With straight hair and this summer heat comes lots of frizzing and my hair loses it’s curl and puffs up. We are having a family BBQ tom’w so I want to make sure my hair stays nice the whole way through. I have been using theses product for two weeks and I’m shocked how my hair is still smooth and not frizzy after being outside in the crazy Florida heat and humidity.

Here are the product break downs:

R+ Co Moon landing Spray

This spray is something I spray on my hair before I leave the house. It is like a finishing spray. It’s is not oily at all and smells so good. It keeps my hair from getting frizzy and losing it’s curl. After being outside a lot, I can honestly tell you-this product is amazing.

R+ Co Mood Swing

This spray is created for curly hair to help your blowout be as straight and smooth as possible. I use this before I blow dry my hair and in between blow drys- when I re curl my hair. It helps my ends to not look frizzy and doesn’t leave a weird residue on my hair, it’s not oily and best of all it lasts all day.

I took a chance on these products but I have to say they are phenomenal and if you have curly, frizzy hair- I highly recommend them! Especially living in a hot humid state, i’ll be using them every day. I also would like to mention that they have a ton of other products for other types of hair and concerns. I highlighted a few of my favorites below.

Thank you to R+ Co for gifting me these products. They are amazing!

Dress| Shoes (on sale!)

Ps. Tom’w is the fourth of July. If you are trying to think of something to wear consider this cute red dress.  One thing I love about a soft t-shirt style dress is how versatile it is. You can add a jean jacket, some flats or heals to dress it up. It’s so versatile plus it has pockets! It’s definitely true to size and in fact you might even be able to size down. It’s perfect for any body type and flattering too. Also, not see through (which is also a plus!). I shared this dress last week in this post here; however wanted to give it another mention for anyone that is looking for an easy look for the 4th.
