I hope you are having a great week. We have been swamped with starting the new year back into our routine, me returning to the classroom, and my husband gearing up for school. It’s been one thing after another.
On another note, I have made a few changes to my summer makeup routine (here). My makeup routine has basically stayed the same but I change out some key products in order to accommodate the cooler weather. You all know I am in Florida but we are getting weather in the 50s and 60s (which I love) but we also I don’t have to use products that fight the horrendous humidity.
Let’s start with primer:
I just started using this hydro grip primer. This primer has been perfect from summer to winter. I deal with crazy oil in my T-Zone and this is the only thing I have found that helps the patchy-ness that my foundation can do because of the oil.
Over the summer I used this foundation and loved it, I still do. But lately I don’t need as much coverage because the weather is much nicer and I have gone back to using a drop of this CC Cream with this foundation.
I have used this for years. I prefer eye shadow on my brows over pencil. Sometimes I add a brow mascara that helps to set the eyebrows longer and create a better arch (I use the color medium brown). I only do this part for special occasions, honestly.
For highlighter I use this. It’s honestly the best one I have every used. I’m very pale so sometimes bronzers don’t show up on me as well. However this one does and I love it. I also like this one as well. It’s a bronzer and highlighter for under $20. It was my favorite before I found the “Cookie Highlighter” by Benefit.
